With nearly twenty years of digital design and marketing experience, Patrick is currently consulting with Sun Life Financial's Digital Experience division on customer-focused strategies and solutions.
Previously, Patrick was responsible for mentoring an award-winning team of talented digital strategists, researchers, and designers at Great-West Lifeco. (a division of Power Financial Corporation).
Patrick has spent half his career working with enterprise design teams at some of Canada's largest financial companies, successfully driving innovations in team communication, tooling, design systems, and processes. He has worked on all types of projects ranging from small marketing websites to large customer portals and mobile applications.
A practicing UX leader who keeps his design skills sharp and is always current with best practices and tools, Patrick leads with a strong focus on empowering digital teams to collaborate with product specialists, marketers, subject matter experts, and technologists to create exceptional customer experiences.
A Masters degree in Library and Information Science combined with a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Western Ontario has led Patrick to a career at the intersection of technology and the liberal arts.
