With nearly twenty years of experience working in Digital Product Design and Marketing, Patrick is currently consulting with Sun Life Financial's Digital Experience division on customer-focused strategies and solutions.
Previously, Patrick was responsible for mentoring an award-winning team of talented Digital Strategists, Marketers, Researchers, and Designers at Great-West Lifeco. (a division of Power Financial Corporation).
Patrick has spent half his career working with Enterprise Digital Teams at some of Canada's largest financial companies, successfully driving innovations in team communication, organizational processes, talent acquisition, tooling and design systems. He has successfully led a variety of corporate marketing and product development initiatives ranging from marketing websites to large customer portals, tools, and transactional, mobile applications.
A practicing digital leader who keeps his skills sharp and always current with the latest tools & techniques, Patrick leads by empowering digital teams to collaborate with Product Specialists, Marketers, Subject Matter Experts, and Technologists to create exceptional customer experiences.
A Masters degree in Library and Information Science combined with a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Western Ontario has led Patrick to a career at the intersection of technology and the liberal arts.
